How to Test for Hormonal Imbalance
If you have one or more of the symptoms from the list above it is a pretty good indication your hormones are out of wack! There are two options in testing for a hormonal imbalance. You can test at home using a home hormonal test kit, or visit your doctor and request a full hormone panel blood work.
If you are getting your hormonal panel done in a lab by your doctor something to keep in mind before starting any prescribed medication for a hormonal imbalance, most commonly thyroid replacement medication is to do your research. Once you get on any kind of medication for a hormonal imbalance it is very difficult to wean your body off of it and is not recommended by doctors.
This process took me a little over 3 years to heal my hormones and wean myself off of thyroid medication with quarterly blood work to ensure my hormones were where they should be, which is a pretty expensive process in and of itself.
I did not know then what I have learned and share now about being able to naturally heal and reset our hormones.
